Good morning and welcome to another exciting week, thanks to everyone who linked up again last week, we had some great ideas and places to visit.  We've noticed that people are mostly linking up on Tuesday's and Wednesday's, with linkers seldom linking on a Thursday, so we've decided to end the linky now at 2355 on a Wednesday.  If this doesn't work for you, please do speak up, we're just going by what's been happening lately!

This week Becky is linking up these great Loo roll Halloween skittles perfect for spooky games!

My showcase

For my first showcase I have one of he most gorgeous photos to support it, just look at the love in those faces! I really like to see men hands on with children, these stuffed peppers from Us two plus you, look great for the whole family, I think I'll get H and T to make them together.  While you are there do check out the blog, I really love the family dynamics and format.

My second showcase, this fab chocolate hedgehog cake  from Pinks Charming brought back some wonderful childhood memories along with cheese and pineapple hedgehogs and pass the parcel with no sweets and prizes in between ;).  I honestly can't remember the number of times one of us had this cake (I'm 1 of 5) I'm going to be adding this on our Autumn bucket list for next year to remind me of those great but simple childhood parties we used to have in the 80's.

We would absolutely love it if you would join us, the linky will open every Tuesday through to Thursdays and give us a good few days to see what your little ones have approved! Every week Becky and I will each pick our favourite two links for our #ToddlerApprovedTuesday showcase which will be featured on our posts and in the weekly #ToddlerApprovedTuesday email, which hits over 125 email addresses each week!

Well I don't know about you but it's more like Autumn here now after a fabulous day on Saturday!  You can tell that the children are preparing to go back to school soon.  The mornings are getting darker, the evenings are getting chillier and the rain... well I just won't mention that ;)

I hope you've all managed to have a good week with your little ones or if like me you've not had a chance to write a new post for this week (again - sorry!) come over and link up an old one.

This week I'm relying on the archives again this was a lovely activity that T and I used to enjoy, in fact if he saw this now he'd probably remember and want to do it again!  I hope you like this foil wrapping activity, I'd love to hear how your little ones liked it if you give it a go.

My showcase this week

Thanks to Kiddie Holidays for this great review of the Ullswater steamer, such an unusual day out and such beautiful scenery.  It's certainly one I'll be looking out for if I'm ever in the vicinity.

My second showcase is for these charming paper dolls from Pink's Charming, I love book inspired activities so this really appealed to me, it's not a Julia Donaldson book that I'm familiar with so I'll be on the lookout for a copy too.

This tin foil river might just be one of my favourites of all time, we've got it on our list of things to do for our 'cousin club' on Friday so when I saw it linked up from babyfoote.com I had to include it in my showcase.  So simple yet so effective and fun!
